IAHUB-TZ Teacher Professional Learning Community Event – Dodoma
Overview

About this event

The IAHUB-TZ Teacher Professional Learning Community Event is a three-day professional development programme that brings together members of the IAHUB-TZ Teacher Network to deepen their professional learning, strengthen classroom practice and continue their journey of educational innovation. The IAHUB-TZ Teacher Network is a community of educators who have previously participated in IAHUB-TZ professional development programmes. Through online learning sessions, face-to-face workshops and classroom implementation, members have explored innovative teaching approaches, technology-enhanced learning, Artificial Intelligence in education and learner-centred pedagogies. The event provides an opportunity for teachers to build on these experiences by reflecting on their classroom practice, learning from one another and collaboratively refining their teaching strategies. The event begins on 6 August 2026 with live classroom demonstrations at a host school. Participants will observe authentic classroom lessons delivered by fellow members of the Teacher Network, followed by structured discussions and reflections on instructional decisions, learner engagement, classroom interaction and practical strategies for improving teaching and learning. On 7–8 August 2026, participants will engage in interactive workshops that extend and enrich the knowledge and skills developed during previous IAHUB-TZ training programmes.
